MANSFIELD — This week’s most wanted fugitive is Kevin R. Crouse. The 46-year-old white man is 6-foot, 232 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities say he is wanted on two different warrants. The first warrant is out of Richland County Common Pleas Court for a Probation Violation, original charge of Domestic Violence and felony of the fourth degree. The second warrant is out of Seneca County for Escape.
“Kevin Crouse is no stranger to the Task Force or the courts. We will continue to look for him until he is apprehended. It’s only a matter of time,” said J.J. Bittinger, Task Force Officer/Richland County Court Services.
Crouse was previously arrested by the US Marshals Task Force for a Probation Violation out of Richland County. After he was arrested and during his probation violation hearing he was sentenced to a Community Based Correction Facility in Seneca County. Crouse was transported to the CBCF in January of this year and scaled the fence and escaped later that same day.
The Task force has conducted several interviews in an attempt to locate Crouse but have not been successful.
Crouse has a lengthy criminal history including violent, drug and property offenses.
The Task Force is asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information about Crouse is asked to contact the Richland County Sheriff’s Department at 419 524-2412.
