FREDERICKTOWN — A few tears, numerous smiles and a sense of accomplishment filled Fredericktown High School’s gymnasium on Friday night.

The Class of 2026, 105 strong, graduated during commencement ceremonies in front of a full house of family and friends.

Valedictorians Katherine Bellman, Raegan Blanchard, Alexander Broerman, Cooper Love and Caleb Smith spoke. The salutatorian was Isabelle Louthan.

The class officers included president Micah Phillips, vice president Darren Hartley and secretary Mikaylah Holley.

The class motto was: “Nobody else can live the life you live.” — Mr. Rogers.

The class flower was an Orange Hibiscus, and the class colors were Tangerine and Ultra Blue.

“The Class of 2026 would like to thank all who have helped us reach this milestone,” students stated. “To our teachers, we have always felt welcomed and supported by your efforts to help us achieve our goals.

“To the administration, thank you for providing a safe environment to excel in our academic careers. To our family and friends, thank you for always believing in our endeavors. To the community, thank you for making this school district a place we can thrive in.

“For the past 13 years, we have been on a path to excellence with each stop teaching us a new lesson that goes beyond the classroom. Today we go forth in our journey, holding those lessons dear to our hearts.”
