Joseph L. Morganstern, age 90 of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 27, 1935, in Mansfield to the late David and Rose (Vorchehaska) Morganstern.
Joe worked for 20 years as an over-the-road truck driver. He was a fantastic bowler and golfer, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians. Above all, he is remembered as a hard worker, an amazing provider, and a wonderful husband. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Colleen Morganstern; his children Joseph (Karen) Morganstern and Julie (Scott) Sauder; his stepchildren Jay (Jeanie) Robson, Joy (Dave) Sauder, and Jason Robson; his sister Kristine Shindeldecker; his daughter-in-law Cathy Robson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Morganstern; his sons Michael and Philip Morganstern; his stepson Jerry Robson; his brothers Dave and George Morganstern; and his parents David and Rose Morganstern.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Mansfield Cemetery.
