Ricky L. “Rinky Dink” Daiber, age 67, of Galion passed away Sunday April 5, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born January 26, 1959 in Bucyrus, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Bonnie (Cox) Daiber. He married Linda Mount and they spent 36 wonderful years together.

He was a 1977 graduate of Wynford High School. He was the owner and operator of Rick Daiber Trucking. He was a member of Kirkpatrick Church of Christ. Rick enjoyed trucks, animals – particularly dogs, barbequing, tinkering, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was fun loving and quick witted and was known to be a practical joker. His two favorite sayings were 10-4 Good Buddy and It’ll be okay.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his children: Lee Daiber, Rickayla Daiber, Kevin (Mandy) Samson, Heidi Samson and Heather (Aaron) Conkle, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother Gary Daiber and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marsha Shumaker.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday April 9, 2026 and from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Friday at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 10, 2026 with Minister Mike Sayor officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
