Mary Ann Findley passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus, Ohio. Mary Ann was born on May 28, 1941, in Galion, Ohio, to the late John and Newella
(Hillis) Findley.

She graduated from Galion Senior High School in 1959. Mary Ann retired from Galion Community Hospital in 1995. Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to helping others by becoming an American Red Cross disaster volunteer. In this role, she traveled to areas affected by devastating storms, serving meals and providing assistance to those in need following Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, and several other hurricanes along the Gulf Coast.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her deep love of family and the special friendships she shared with her Galion Senior High School classmates, affectionately known as the “’59ers.” These lifelong friendships held a special place in her heart.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Debora Stevens of Titusville,Florida; her son, Michael (Jodi) Bridges of Worthington, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Heinberger; her brothers, Michael and Mark Findley; her daughter, Cherie Delaney; and her grandson, John Delaney.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 for a memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to the American Red Cross or Capital City Hospice of Columbus, Ohio.
