It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Destiny Ward, 21, of Mansfield, Ohio. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Above all else, Destiny cherished being a mommy to her beautiful four-month-old daughter, Eliana Mosley, who was the greatest joy of her life. She also adored her beloved cat, Salem. Destiny found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, including spending time with her family, shopping, getting her nails done, and making lasting memories with those she loved.

Destiny graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 2023 with her cosmetology license. She later attended Pioneer Adult Education, where she earned her CNA certification in 2025. Destiny was a dedicated cashier at Kroger, where she faithfully worked for the past three years. She was known for her kind heart, warm smile, and caring nature, leaving a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.

She is lovingly survived by her precious daughter, Eliana Mosley; her boyfriend of three years, Daylin Mosley; her mother, Carol Ward; her father, Tyler Bender; her brothers, Darien (Abigail) Williams and Devon (Autumn) Ward; her nephews, Darien Zy’Air, Devon Jr., Ayden, Ezra, Cohen, and Braylen; her aunt, Melissa (Denver) Wright; her uncles, Robert Ward and James Ward; her cousins, Jeremy Wright, Helen Jones, Willow Ward, Makayla Ramos, James Ward Jr., and Robert Ward; her second cousins, James Jones and Gregory Styer; along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Destiny was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bessie Ward; her grandfather, James Ward; and her sweet cat, Pumpkin, whom she loved dearly.

Though words cannot express the heartbreak of losing someone so young, Destiny’s love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, girlfriend, aunt, and friend whose greatest gift was the love she gave to those around her.

A memorial service celebrating Destiny’s life will be held at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Ave. E., Mansfield, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
