Judith “Judy” Diane Rudd passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Avita Ontario Hospital. Judy was born in Crestline, Ohio to the late Eugene and Edith (Spangler) Klahn on August 21, 1947.
Judy graduated from Colonel Crawford High School with the Class of 1965. She went on to build a dedicated career with the Ohio Eye Association, where she faithfully served for 32 years before retiring.
Judy was a woman of deep faith and a kind, welcoming spirit. She was a devoted member of Most Pure Heart of Mary, where her faith was an important part of her life. Judy found great joy in quilting, sewing, and crocheting, creating beautiful handmade gifts.
She cherished the companionship of her beloved little dog, Abby, who brought her endless happiness. Above all, Judy was a true people person who never met a stranger. She had a warm smile, a listening ear, and a genuine interest in everyone she encountered, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert (Martha) Rudd and Troy Rudd; her sister, Vicki (Steve) Carr; her niece and nephews, Katelynn (Joshua McKee) Carr, Walker Carr, Spencer Carr, and Adam Hoffman; her great-nephew, Brody Carr; and her lifelong friends, Linda Clevenger and Atara Holt.
In addition to her parents, Eugene and Edith, Judy was preceded in death by the father of her children, Robert Rudd; her son, Ryan Rudd; her sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Hoffman; and her twin siblings, Kathy and Gary Klahn.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gompf Funeral Service – Crestline Chapel, 223 W. Main Street, Crestline. A graveside service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
