Joshua “Josh” Michael Allen, 35, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Josh was born on September 7, 1990, in South Charleston, West Virginia to John “Eddie” Allen and Rebecca “Becky” (Pauley) Allen.

Josh married the love of his life, Meagen Tolle, on September 26, 2015. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories, creating a bond that will forever be treasured by those who knew them.

Josh was a creative and caring person who lived life with determination and a true go-getter spirit. He was someone who always filled a room with laughter. Josh loved music, dancing, drawing, and painting, especially enjoying time spent helping his mom with painting projects. He had a deep love for animals and found joy in volunteering with horses, helping with farm chores, and caring for those around him.

A proud high school football player, Josh carried his passion, dedication, and team spirit throughout his life. Above all, he loved being a father and treasured every moment spent with his children.

Left to cherish Josh’s memory are his beloved wife, Meagan; his children, Aiden Allen, Marleigh Allen, and Syris Allen; his siblings, Brian (Sabrina) Allen and Chad (Julie) Allen; his parents, Eddie and Becky; his nieces and nephews, Kalan Allen, Meilah Allen, and Ivan Allen; and numerous aunts and uncles. Godmother Susie Aldridge and Grandmother Birdie Pauley. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Gompf Funeral Service-Galion Chapel, 303 Portland Way N., Galion. A funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Rick Lewis.
