BUCYRUS — A 74-year-old Bucyrus man was arrested Tuesday after a child pornography investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
James J. Kemery was charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, according to the CCSO.

The arrest followed a Saturday search of a residence at 6101 Parks Road, where deputies executed a warrant related to the investigation. Investigators seized electronic items from the home and obtained a subsequent warrant to search the devices.
Authorities discovered child pornography on Tuesday after extracting data from the electronics, according to the sheriff’s office.
A report will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of additional charges, the CCSO said.
Sheriff Scott Kent, Lt. Craig Moser and Det. Tyler Winkelman said they encourage citizens to report suspicious activity to the sheriff’s office at 419-562-7906 or by submitting a tip through the agency’s mobile app.
