MANSFIELD — The traditional job interview is getting a high-energy makeover.
On March 24, Richland County’s most motivated high schoolers won’t just be looking for jobs — they’ll be auditioning the workforce of the future at EmployMEpalooza 2026.
Hosted at the Richland Academy of the Arts, this high-impact “Reverse Job Fair” flips the script on hiring.

Instead of students wandering through aisles of corporate booths, the students are the stars of the show. Local sophomores, juniors, and seniors will host their own displays, pitching their unique skills, creative portfolios, and career aspirations to the region’s top employers.
Why It’s a Gamechanger
Spearheaded by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development and OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Richland County, this event bridges the gap between local classroom talent and industry needs.
- Students as CEOs: Mentors and faculty are currently coaching students to build professional resumes and curate table displays that “wow” recruiters.
- One-Stop Talent Scouting: Employers can scout for seasonal help, part-time staff, interns, or full-time graduates ready to start their careers immediately.
- Authentic Connections: Skip the stiff office interview and meet students in an environment where their personalities and work ethics truly shine.
