Helen Jean Baker Taylor, age 90, of Galion passed away Friday November 7, 2025 at Mill Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born November 21, 1934 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Nial and Phebey (Mount) Louthan.
Helen worked at General Telephone in Galion for several years then worked at Sears in Galion until it closed, transferring to the Richland Mall Sears where she retired in 1992.She enjoyed camping and spending her winters in Florida.
She is survived by her daughter Diana Baker, granddaughter Darcy (Allen) Sanders, grandson Dennis (Jenny) Marsh, great-granddaughter Cadence Marsh and great-grandson Titus Sanders.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur Baker in 2004, her second husband Bob Taylor in 2012 and son Arthur Baker Jr. in 2017.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday November 12, 2025 at the First Lutheran Church 127 S. Columbus Street, Galion where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Shawn Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
