The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings Fall Concert is planned on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Lexington High School.

LEXINGTON — The Renaissance Performing Arts Association invites the community to celebrate the next generation of musicians at the Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings Fall Concert on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Lexington High School.

Since its founding in 1992, the Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings (MSYS) has provided exceptional opportunities for students in grades 6–10 to grow as musicians and performers.

Comprising approximately 50 talented young players, the ensemble blends classical training with contemporary repertoire, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and a lifelong love of music.

The Youth Strings are directed by Alora Eyerly, a Mansfield native and accomplished violinist, pianist, and ensemble performer. With her passion for music education and extensive experience, Eyerly continues to inspire and guide students as they develop both their artistry and their confidence.

“This program is an integral part of the Mansfield Symphony’s education initiative,” said Chelsie Thompson, president & CEO of the Renaissance Performing Arts Association. “Through opportunities like Youth Strings, we nurture not only musical skill but also creativity, discipline, and community connection in young people across our region.”
