Smithville overcame a first-quarter deficit in a 35-19 win over Dalton in Ohio high school football on Sept. 12.

The Smithies kept a 21-13 intermission margin at the Bulldogs’ expense.
Neither team could dent the scoreboard in the third quarter.
The Smithies got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 14-6 edge.
