A 5-foot-11 junior, DeVito averaged 9.2 points a game last year and was a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference honorable-mention pick.

Starters lost to graduation off last year’s Division II Final Four team, including Mr. Basketball candidate Alex Bruskotter.
OUTLOOK 🔮
Shelby averaged 70.5 points a game last year and almost all of that offensive firepower walked out the door on graduation day last spring. Brayden DeVito, a standout football player, is the lone returning starter off last year’s Final Four team.

A two-time All-Ohioan and the reigning Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Schwemley recently committed to play for Division II Ohio Dominican. She averaged 14.1 points and 2.8 steals a game during the regular season.

Straight Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference championships for Shelby. The Whippets will be in the hunt for No. 7 this winter thanks to a talented and veteran-laden roster.
OUTLOOK 🔮
With an experienced eight-player senior class leading the charge, there’s no reason to think the Whippets are anything less than a strong contender for a seventh straight MOAC crown.
