After stepping aside from coaching in 2008 and seeing his youngest son graduate, Coach Ken transitioned to being the biggest fan of his grandchildren thriving in his role as ‘Papa Haubs’ whether it was in the stands at the field, being on the golf course, casting a line in the pond, or telling his famous story of the time he caught a shark.

Ken touched many lives and spent a lifetime serving others, leaving behind fond memories and friends of Bill W., along with colleagues, coaches and former players from his time on the ball field and countless others along the way.

A memorial service celebrating the life and achievements of our beloved Papa Haubs will be held on Saturday, November 9th at the Shiloh American Legion Hall located at 4 East Main Street, Shiloh, OH from 1 – 4 PM where we plan to cheer on the Buckeyes together one last time.
