GALION — They haven’t lost since late-August and recently completed a perfect run through the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference.
The Galion Tigers are ready for the postseason.
Galion earned the top seed at the Attica district and took a first-round bye. The Tigers will play either No. 11 Upper Sandusky or No. 12 Colonel Crawford at 11 a.m. Saturday for the sectional title. The Rams host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Also Wednesday, No. 7 Crestview hosts No. 13 Kansas Lakota, while No. 9 Wynford visits No. 6 Western Reserve and No. 14 Bucyrus is at No. 4 Willard. All sectional semifinal matches begin at 5:30 p.m.
Also in Division III, Mapleton earned the No. 8 seed in the Elyria district and will host No. 9 Wellington at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Division I
No. 5 seed Ashland will take on No. 8 Sylvania Southview at 1 p.m. Saturday at Anthony Wayne for a sectional crown.
Division II
No. 13 Clear Fork visits Norwalk at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, while No. 12 seed Mansfield Senior is at No. 4 seed Tiffin Columbian at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. No. 6 seed Ontario hosts No. 8 Lexington at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and No. 9 Shelby hosts No. 11 Port Clinton at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Division IV
Lucas earned the No. 5 seed in the Willard district and will host No. 8 Crestline at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Also at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, No. 13 St. Peter’s vistas No. 10 New London, while No. 11 Mansfield Christian is at No. 4 Seneca East and No. 9 Plymouth is at No. 7 South Central. Buckeye Central earned the No. 3 seed and took a first-round bye. The Buckets will player either Sandusky St. Mary or Lakeside Danbury at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Norwalk St. Paul.
Both Loudonville and Hillsdale will be in action in the Medina district. The Redbirds earned the No. 7 seed and take on No. 10 Richmond Heights at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Medina High School. The 14th-seeded Falcons meet No. 3 Elyria Open Door Christian at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Medina.
