MANSFIELD — Wednesday’s Huntington Bank robbery suspect is in custody, according to a press release Friday from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Angela Cooper, of Mansfield, was arrested Thursday night on a third-degree felony robbery warrant in connection with the incident at the Ashland Road location.
The arrest, Sheriff Steve Sheldon said, was made following a tip.
“Deputies located the suspect vehicle described in the bank robbery at an address on Bowman Street Road the evening of the robbery,” Sheldon said. “Deputies seized the vehicle and executed the search warrants on the vehicle and the residence where it was parked.
“Evidence was collected that tied the suspect to the robbery.”
Cooper is being incarcerated at the Richland County Jail.
