The Elks enjoyed a 17-14 lead over the Golden Lions to start the fourth quarter.
Dayton Centerville got the better of the action throughout the first half, owning a 14-7 margin over Gahanna Lincoln at halftime.
Both offenses were stymied without points on either side in the first quarter.
