In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Ritter; longtime companion Bob McKee; brothers-in-law Ray Bell, Harry Ritter, Richard Ritter, and David Ritter; and sisters-in-law Gladys (Lou) Esselburn, Mary Jean Ritter, and Rose Shaffer.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home (81 Mill Rd) and Pastor Harry Strachan will officiate.
