Β Helen L. (Lehnhart) Rucker, 84, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

Helen was born on February 27, 1930 in Mansfield to Clarence Lehnhart and Faye (Mosier) Lehnhart Morton.Β  Anyone that knew Helen would say she was the kindest person, who was very generous and always complimenting others.Β  She was an active member of McGregor Baptist Church, Ft Myers, FL, where she was a leader for the β€œSparkies” in the AWANAS youth program for nearly 20 years.Β  She also received a medal for her number of years as secretary of the golf ministry in FL.Β  She was a wonderful hostess, enjoyed cooking, and had such an enthusiasm for life.Β  When she returned to Mansfield, she joined Mansfield Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Rucker, whom she married on June 27, 1974; two daughters, Kathy (Don) McElvain and Kim (Don) Chilson; four sons, Duke (Joellen) Hergatt, Doug (Laurie) Hergatt, Dan (Kristy) Hergatt, and Terry (Deborah) Rucker; 14 grandchildren, Jenni (Scott) Yoder, Jamie (Courtni) White, Jason (Tenelle) McElvain; Leah (Chad) Clem, Rachel (Scott) Cahill, Duke (Jocelyn) Hergatt, Jakeb Hergatt, Josh Hergatt, Ciara Hergatt, Jake Hergatt, Sammy Hergatt, Ian Hergatt, Melissa (Eric) Leivhart, and Jesse Raber; 13 great-grandchildren, Jaden Yoder, Jevin Yoder, Dyllan White, Dalton White, Carson White, Parker McElvain, Grady McElvain, Emily Clem, Andrew Clem, Eliana Clem, Jack Cahill, Josie Cahill, and Maci Hergatt; and one sister, Mary Sulek.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Margie A. Buskirk.

Calling hours will be fromΒ 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014Β at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield.Β  Funeral services will follow atΒ 11 a.m.Β with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating.Β  Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
