LUCAS — The 42 members of the Lucas High School Class of 2024 received their diplomas on Sunday afternoon in the Heritage School Gymnasium.

Senior Kendall Guegold delivered the valedictorian address and senior Ash Moherman provided the salutatorian remarks.

Senior Brayden Spitler introduced the commencement speaker — his father and longtime Lucas teacher and football coach Scott Spitler.

Senior class President Brody Odson led the ceremonial turning of the tassels.

Afterward, the seniors and those in attendance gathered outside to “toss the caps,” marking the official final moments for the LHS Class of 2024.
