ASHLAND — The city of Ashland is hosting a Color Fun Walk & Run to raise awareness about the foster care community and the work that Fostering Family Ministries does.

The 5K and 1-mile walk event will take place at Freer Field 1264 Center Street Ashland, OH 44805. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. on May 18.

All participants are invited to wear a white shirt to show off the colorful powder thrown from the color stations along the route.

Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. As the event is about supporting children and families in foster care, donations are being accepted to help Fostering Family Ministries continue its work.
