MANSFIELD – iHeartMedia Ashland/Mansfield radio stations (WNCO-FM, WXXF-
FM, WMAN-AM, WYHT-FM, WFXN-FM, WNCO-AM and WSWR-FM) in partnership with Mechanics Bank, are proud to sponsor a campaign that was created by the late Sam Ramirez, to help provide the children of our community with toys for Christmas.

From Nov. 1 through the 30th listeners will be asked to donate new/gently used toys and monetary donations at all NINE Richland County Mechanics Bank locations.

Special thanks to Office Depot of Ontario, for donating the barrel signs for the campaign.

“Times are tough and many children in the communities we serve, go without Christmas gifts or toys,” said Chris Kelly, Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia, Ashland/Mansfield.

“As a strong and reliable voice for our community, iHeartRADIO will use the power of seven radio stations and lean-on the good will our listeners have, to help us collect these new/gently used toys or monetary donations.”

Doug Ferrel, owner of Buckeye Thrift said, “Each year, Sam would buy toys for children at Christmas, with his own money and told very few people about doing this.

“It is our mission to keep his kindness going every year and to help as many kids as possible, have a great Christmas.”

Organizers said they are also very proud to have Mechanics Bank on board as our title sponsor for the drive.

“At Mechanics, we witness the generosity of our community time and time again,” said Kristi Lord, VP of Marketing at Mechanics Bank.

“We hope that offering our nine office locations as drop off points makes giving more convenient for those who are able to donate
new or gently used toys for our neighbors in greatest need.”
