Perry Como once sang the now iconic lyrics: β€œThere’s no place like home for the holidays. For the holidays you can’t beat home sweet home.”

β€œHome For The Holidays,” perhaps a nod to the Como classic, is the newly selected theme for Kingwood Center Garden’s, β€œChristmas at Kingwood ” annual light display.Β Β

The traditional event, which opened on the 26th of November at the 47-acre estate, will showcase the home sweet home of former Kingwood estate owner Charles Kelley King, who was an industrialist and the former president and chairman of the Board of Ohio Brass.Β

The Mansion, which first opened to the public in 1953, is skillfully decorated each year by a team of volunteers and garden clubs, who additionally decorate the home according to the theme that was selected for the year.Β
