NORWALK — Mansfield Senior found a rude host in Norwalk on Friday night.

The Truckers, and particularly running back Trevon Raymore dominated the Tygers in a surprising 42-21 decision in the season opener for both schools.

Raymore ran for 249 yards and two touchdowns, including a 71-yard jaunt. Norwalk opened a 14-0 first-quarter lead, made it 28-0 at halftime and never looked back.

Alamar Grose had a 87-yard kickoff return for Senior High and Angelo Grose ran for one score and threw for another, but it was too little too late.

Angelo Grose was 9-of-15 passing for 111 yards and two interceptions. He also ran for 119 yards.

Norwalk quarterback Garrett Chapin was 9-of-12 passing for 201 yards and a pair of scores.

Senior High’s two turnovers also crippled the Tygers.
