The Source Media Journalism Fellowship is a one-week intensive that will equip students with the tools they need to practice journalism, including finding stories, interviewing sources, crafting a compelling narrative and pitching their work to news organizations.
After that, fellows will have the opportunity for further mentorship from our staff, additional story assignments and the chance to see more of their work published over the course of the summer.

This free, highly competitive program is open to incoming high school juniors and seniors students.
Source Media Fellows should be dependable, hard workers who are unafraid to challenge themselves and the status quo. We’re looking for critical thinkers who aren’t afraid to ask questions and are always seeking to learn.
Ideal candidates will have a knack for storytelling and interest in writing, photography, video and/or social media content creation.
