Source Media Journalism Fellowship

The Source Media Journalism Fellowship is a one-week intensive that will equip students with the tools they need to practice journalism, including finding stories, interviewing sources, crafting a compelling narrative and pitching their work to news organizations.

This free, highly competitive program is open to incoming high school juniors and seniors students in Ashland, Richland and Knox Counties.

Source Media Fellows should be dependable, hard workers who are unafraid to challenge themselves and the status quo. We’re looking for critical thinkers who aren’t afraid to ask questions and are always seeking to learn.

Ideal candidates will have a knack for storytelling and interest in writing, photography, video and/or social media content creation.

If you don’t fit all the characteristics we’ve described above or if you have other important skills not listed above, don’t hesitate to apply and tell us about yourself.
