Wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected across north central Ohio on Thursday.

MANSFIELD — Mother Nature has apparently gathered her second wind, and will blast it through north central Ohio on Thursday.

As if last weekend’s storms weren’t bad enough, the National Weather Service informs us that another round of high winds are coming our way again. On Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service listed the following forecast and alert.

There is a threat of gusty winds for Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. This weather event is expected to take place mainly along and north of I-70, which cuts through the middle of Ohio.

Wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour are expected. These gusts will impact tents for COVID-19 testing, according to the National Weaether Service.

Confidence is high in the accuracy of this forecast, the National Weather Serfvice stated.
