ASHLAND – Ashland University President Dr. Carlos Campo wrote an article that first appeared in the magazine Christianity Today in July and that article has been selected to be reprinted in a new book titled “How to Pick a President.”

The article was originally titled “Why Neither Candidate Has Hispanic Christians Convinced This Election” with the subtitle of “Leading evangelical explains how both Trump and Clinton fall short.”

The article will now appear as Chapter 7 in the new book by Christianity Today and is titled, “The Hispanic Quandary: ¿Cuándo?”

Dr. Campo said he was honored to be among the authors chosen for this new book.

“I hope it provides readers with a broad overview of the issues our citizenry must consider when making the critical decision of voting for our next president,” he said.

In a letter to Dr. Campo from Mark Galli, editor in chief of Christianity Today, Galli said, “We thought your contribution was one of the better pieces to help readers reflect on their political responsibility during this contentious season.”

Galli went on to note that they were choosing “the best articles” for this anthology, and congratulated Dr. Campo.

The book is available in online bookstores in both paperback and Kindle editions.
