Edith A. Durfee Clark, 64, a beautiful angel, entered Heaven on Friday, August 1, 2014, after a lengthy illness.

God looked among His angels, and saw an empty place. He looked upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He wrapped you in His glory, to where you weren’t alone and with a smile He grabbed you, and calmly took you home.

Edith was born on the 8th of April, 1950, in Mansfield, to Robert E. and Doris P. (Adkins) Durfee. Edith cherished in this life spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing many things, among them was playing cards, camping, watching TV, and lighting up a room with her humor.

She is survived by three children, Mark Clark, Cindy (Mike) Lonas, all of Mansfield, and Angela (Jason) Marvicsin of Mansfield, TX; three grandchildren, Michael (Abigail) Lonas, and Cierra and Mariah Marvicsin, plus three step- granddaughters, Tiffany, Michelle, and Kayla; and three siblings, Bev Schwaner, Roger Durfee, and Mary (Larry) Sutherland, all of Mansfield.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Ronnie Durfee, Faye Eaton, Bobby Durfee, June Tenney, and infant brother Billie Durfee.

Calling hours will be from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD, 1106 Park Ave East, (St. Rt. 430) Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
