BUCYRUS – The Bucyrus Rotary Club announces and congratulates its second Memorial Scholarship recipient of this year, Delaney Strickland.
Delaney, the daughter of Drs. Rebecca and Todd Strickland, is a 2021 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending Marion Technical College this fall and studying to get her associate’s degree to become an occupational therapy assistant.
Deciding the club’s scholarship winners this year were club scholarship committee members Ronda Scott (Club President), Jim Spreng and John Kime, Jr.
“Delaney has been committed to community service throughout her high school career from independent volunteer activities, like visiting patients at Altercare Nursing Home with her dog, Pippy, to school-based community services projects through the National Honor Society and Interact Club,” Scott said. “I’m always so impressed with the drive and dedication to the community that our students show.”
