LUCAS — Shelby Grover just keeps adding to her All-Ohio résumé.
The newly-crowned Richland Source volleyball Player of the Year, Grover was a Division IV All-Ohio honorable mention selection this fall. She 344 kills to go with 63 blocks and 337 digs.
She set a single-game program record with 31 kills against South Central and now has 722 career kills with her senior season still in front of her.
Grover was selected the Mid-Buckeye Conference Player of the Year, helping the Cubs to a 15-8 overall record and an 8-2 mark in the MBC.
The All-Ohio honor is the third for Grover. She was Division IV special mention selection in basketball last year and a Division III track All-Ohioan after finishing sixth in the 300 meter hurdles at the state meet.
Grover is one of three All-Ohioans on the six-player All-Richland Source team.
Faith Kuhn, Madison: A 6-foot middle hitter, Kuhn helped lead a revival at Madison. The Rams were 12-11 overall and 8-4 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference, good for third place behind Wooster and Mount Vernon. Kuhn, who has committed to Shawnee State, is a two-time Ohio Cardinal Conference first team pick and a two-time all-district first-teamer in Division I.
Bekah Conrad, Clear Fork: The 6-foot-4 Conrad was one of the most imposing players in Richland County. A senior middle hitter, Conrad was second in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference with 314 kills. She was an All-MOAC first team pick and a District 6 first team selection in Division II.
Rachel Kocher, Lexington: The junior had 302 kills and 174 digs on the season as Lexington finished fourth in the Ohio Cardinal Conference standings. Kocher was selected to the OCC first team and was a first team pick to the District 6 team in Division II.
Lauren Mann, Buckeye Central: A senior outside hitter, Mann helped pilot the Buckettes to an outright Northern 10 Athletic Conference championship and Division IV district runner-up finish. She had 196 kills and 44 aces for Buckeye Central (23-2, 14-0). Mann was an All-Ohio second team pick in Division IV.
Rylee Ritzhaupt, Colonel Crawford: A junior outside hitter, Ritzhaupt had 337 kills and 22 blocks as the Eagles (16-7, 9-5) finished fourth in the Norther 10 Athletic Conference. Ritzhaupt was an All-Ohio honorable mention selection in Division III.
