LEXINGTON -- Four Lexington High School athletes took part in college signing day activities today. committing to three different schools.
Sylvia Goldsmith, daughter of Michael and Jennifer Goldsmith, signed to play tennis at Belmont Abbey College. She is a four-time Ohio Cardinal Conference Player of the Year and a four-time state qualifier. Goldsmith is also an All-Ohio swimmer.
Amelia Moore, daughter of Jeff and Jennifer Moore, will play volleyball for Fairmont State University. An All-Ohio performer, Moore earned four letters in volleyball and was the OCC Offensive Player of the Year. She also placed at the state track meet.
Meghan Stehle, daughter of Jeff Stehle, will continue her bowling career at Notre Dame College. The three-year letter winner has won a district title and was a member of the OCC championship team for Lexington.
Hayleigh Tucker, daughter of David and Alecia Dechert, will play tennis for Notre Dame College. Tucker earned four varsity letters at LHS and recorded 101 career wins. She was a state qualifier and a three-time district qualifier, as well as a four-time OCC champion. She has also earned three letters in track and was a regional qualifier in the discus.
