CANTON — Are you ready to show the home of professional football how Richland County celebrates state football championship games?
Richland Source, your home for coverage of Mansfield Senior and Lucas playoff football, will broadcast LIVE on Facebook outside the Pro Football Hall of Fame before the Tygers and Cubs games on Friday and Saturday.
We will be set up for the Richland Source Championship Kickoff tailgate party on the plaza on the north side of the Hall of Fame, just a short walk to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, site of the state title games.
Each pre-game event will feature special guests, snacks, sign-making opportunities and more. Bring your own food and drinks, join your friends and neighbors and let’s show Canton and Stark County how we rally behind our teams in Richland County.
Friday’s event will start around 12 noon and will run until 2:30 p.m. We’ll feature special guests and preview Mansfield Senior (13-1) vs Trotwood-Madison (11-3) in the Division III state title game, which kicks off at 3 p.m.
We will be back on Saturday, starting around 8 a.m. and running until around 9:30 a.m. We’ll have more guests and hype Lucas (12-2) vs Maria Stein Marion Local (12-2) in the Division VII championship game, which kicks off at 10 a.m.
