MANSFIELD — Myles Bradley capped his high school career in style.

Younger brother Mekhi still has another year to cement his legacy, but got an early start.

Myles Bradley was selected the Division III Offensive Player of the Year in the Northwest District, while Mekhi was selected the Co-Defensive Player of the Year when the teams were introduced Wednesday evening.

A senior and two-way standout, Myles Bradley was recognized for his body of work as a receiver. He caught a team-high 47 passes for 834 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 17.7 yards per catch.

A physical junior linebacker, Mekhi Bradley shared the Defensive Player of the Year award with Lima Shawnee’s Myles Aldrich. Mekhi Bradley led Senior High with 119 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He was also selected the Ohio Cardinal Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year.

The Bradleys had plenty of company on the All-Northwest District first team. Sophomore tackle Ahman Thomas was a first-team selection along the offensive line, while senior Brock Hill was a first-team pick at quarterback.

Defensively, cornerback Ja’ontay O’Bryant was a first-team pick after intercepting seven passes in 12 games. Kicker Sean Putt also earned a spot on the first team after booting 10 field goals while making 33 of 36 PATs.

Mansfield Senior was 9-3 and reached the second round of the Region 10 playoffs.

Lexington landed three players on the first team after reaching the playoffs this fall. Karson Berry was a first-team pick at running back, while Leyton Nossa was a first-teamer along the offensive line. Matt Dwyer was a first-team pick on the defensive line.

Ashland’s Kadin Schmitz was a first-team selection at defensive back. The Navy recruit averaged about 13 tackles a game.

Division IV

In Division IV, Shelby quarterback Marshall Shepherd was selected the Offensive Player of the Year after rewriting the program’s record book.

Shepherd set single-season records for completions (270), attempts (415), yards (4,273) and touchdowns (48). His .651 completion percentage is also tops in program history for a single season.

Shepherd was joined on the all-district first team by teammates Blaine Bowman, Camden Armstrong, Caleb Baker, David Ray and Andre Hill.

Bowman caught 70 passes for 1,216 yards and 16 touchdowns during the regular season, while Armstrong was a first team pick on the offensive line after helping the Whippets average 490.5 yards a game. Baker was a first team selection on the defensive line after recording eight sacks. A linebacker, Ray led Shelby with 98 tackles in the regular season. Hill landed a spot as a defensive back after leading the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference with five interceptions.

Clear Fork’s Kaden Riddle and Ontario’s Chance Mullins also were first-team picks. Riddle landed a spot on the offensive line while Mullins was recognized as a linebacker.

Division V

Wynford receiver Jaron Filliater and linebacker Brian Crabtree both earned first-team nods in Division V. Filliater caught 55 passes for 966 yards and seven touchdowns. Crabtree led the Northern 10 Athletic Conference with 138 tackles.

Division VI

Crestview’s Connor Morse and Owen Barker and Colonel Crawford’s Lincoln Mollenkopf were rewarded for their historic seasons.

Morse was selected the Northwest District Division VI Defensive Co-Player of the Year, while Barker was the Co-Lineman of the Year and Mollenkopf was the district Offensive Co-Player of the Year.

A defensive back, Morse led the Cougars with 144 tackles in 13 games. He intercepted one pass, broke up four other, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles as Crestview went 10-0 during the regular season and won its first two playoff games before falling to Carey in the regional semifinals.

Barker starred along Crestview’s defensive line. He had 96 tackles and 13.5 sacks among his 18 tackles for loss.

A running back, Mollenkopf ran for a whopping 2,500 yards and 38 touchdowns on 263 carries. He led the Northern 10 Athletic Conference in rushing and scoring (242 points).

Crestview quarterback Hayden Kuhn and offensive lineman Mason Ringler were selected to the first-team offense, along with Colonel Crawford lineman Nick Teglovic. Kuhn completed 90-of-133 passes for 1,594 yards and 198 touchdowns in his first season under center.

Joining Morse and Barker on the first-team defense were Crestview linebacker Aidan Godsey and Colonel Crawford lineman Parker Ketterman and linebacker Carson Fichtner. Godsey had 95 tackles, while Feichtner was in on 125 stops. Fichtner had 27 tackles for loss, while Ketterman had 21 TFLs.

Division VII

Lucas’ Collin Arnold, Aidan Culler and Grant Barrett earned spots on the All-Northwest District first team in Division VII.

Arnold was selected as an offensive lineman after helping the Cubs reach the regional semifinals. Barrett was selected at linebacker and Culler was selected at kicker. Plymouth’s Shae Sparks also earned a spot on the first team at running back.
