NEW WASHINGTON — Buckeye Central scored double digits in every quarter to thump Bucyrus and earn its first win of the season on Friday night at the Homecoming game in New Washington.
The Bucks led 10-0 after the first quarter, 24-7 at halftime, and took a 38-10 bulge to the final period.
Neither team had earned a victory coming into the game.
Buckeye Central (1-3) travels to undefeated Colonel Crawford (4-0) on Friday night.
Bucyrus (0-4) visits Mohawk next week.
