WESTERVILLE — Cam Todd threw for one touchdown and ran for another and Mansfield Senior's defense pitched its second shutout in as many weeks in a 14-0 win over Westerville Central.
The Tygers (3-0) struck midway through the first quarter when Todd hooked up with Aveon Grose on a 79 yard scoring strike. Todd would add a 1 yard TD run late in the third quarter.
Senior High's stingy defense took care of the rest. The Tygers limited the Warriors (0-3) to 111 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers.
Mansfield Senior piled up 379 yards of total offense. Terrance Flickinger rushed for 63 yards on 15 carries, while Titus Arrington added 62 yards on 11 carries. Todd rushed for 55 yards on nine carries and completed 13 of 20 passes for 203 yards. Cyrus Ellerbe caught five passes for 87 yards, while Grose had three catches for 89 yards.
