Plymouth knocked off Buckeye Central 51-41 on Friday night in the season-opening boys basketball game for both squads at New Washington.

NEW WASHINGTON -- Plymouth knocked off Buckeye Central 51-41 on Friday night in the season opener of the boys high school basketball season.

Zeth Goth notched a game-high 19 points, and was the only double-figure scorer for the Big Red. Aiden McDougal paced Buckeye Central with 12 points and Tyler Sanderson added 10.

Plymouth (1-0) hosts Seneca East on Tuesday night. Buckeye Central is at Crestline on Saturday night.
