MANSFIELD -- The Kroger located at 1240 Park Ave W. isn’t going anywhere, according to corporate affairs manager Amy McCormick.

McCormick addressed rumors about the grocery store future in Mansfield via email Monday, March 18.

“Kroger owns the Park Avenue site and has no plans to relocate the store,” McCormick said.

Richland Source reached out to McCormick recently after Morrow County resident, Lee Ann Hoffman, asked a question through the newsroom’s Open Source, a platform where readers help assign stories.

“I've been told ... Kroger on Park Avenue is moving to Ontario. Any truth to these rumors?” Hoffman said.

Richland Source had previously received phone calls and emails with similar questions from other readers, so when McCormick’s question was submitted through Open Source, the staff was eager to answer her question.

Hoffman also submitted another question about the former Value City property, located near the Dollar General and Save-A-Lot  on Lexington Avenue. This question will be answered soon.

And in the meantime, if you have a question about anything in Richland County, submit your idea below for the newsroom to review. Some questions might be answered immediately, while others could be placed in a voting round.
