MANSFIELD -- There will be a number of activities over the Memorial Day weekend in Mansfield, requiring a number of volunteers to pull everything together.
The Placement of flags on our Veterans graves will take place at the Mansfield Cemetery starting 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 28. Removal will be on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m.
The Avenue of Flags Ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 at Mansfield Memorial Park.

A parade featuring the Mansfield Senior and Madison marching bands kicked off Monday's Memorial Day festivities, which concluded with a program downtown at the Gazebo in Central Park.
