Friday's outing turned into an endurance test that Cincinnati Sycamore passed in a 31-24 victory at Kings Mill King's expense in Ohio high school football action on Sept. 6.

The Knights turned up the heat in the final quarter, but the Aviators put the game on ice.

The Aviators broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 31-17 lead over the Knights.

An intermission tie at 17-17 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

The start wasn't the problem for the Knights, who began with a 7-0 edge over the Aviators through the end of the first quarter.
