GALION, Ohio -- Zelona F. Baldwin, 81, of Galion, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio, Ashland, after an extended illness.
Zelona was born in Marion on March 25, 1934 to the late George and Mildred (Eckard) Long.
Zelona enjoyed reading the Bible and going to church. A favorite pastime for her was sewing. Zelona loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters and a son: Linda and David Clark, Shiloh, Robert and Elizabeth Baldwin, Galion and Lula and Steve Castle, Galion, seven grandchildren; Lynn, Sandy, Robert, Jr., Brandi, Tina, Tammy, and Nicole; fourteen great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and her brother George Long of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Long, four sisters, Wanda Graber, Velda Wibley, Violet Baldwin, Natoma Honaker and her two half-brothers Ellsworth and Harry Manley.
Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at funeral home, with Pastor Eddie Colegrove officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia.
