Yvonne L. “Bonnie” (Stiffler) VanScoyoc, 83, passed away on Oct. 21, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
Bonnie was born on Feb. 23, 1932 in Jackson, Ohio, to Lloyd and Eyota (Straten) Stiffler. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to camp and always opened her doors to anyone in need, she didn’t know a stranger.
Bonnie is survived by three daughters; Wanda (Ken) Springer of Plymouth, Robin (fiancée, Junior Hinkle) Boyle of Mansfield, and Cindy K. Stevens of Valencia, Fla., two sisters; Margaret Smith of Coalton and Mary (Lew) Frisby of Wellston, two brothers; Herman Stiffler of Jackson and Floyd (Janie) Stiffler of Jackson, two grandchildren; Cody Steven Boyle of Port Clinton and Megan Alexandria Boyle of Mansfield, six great-grandchildren; Aleiah, Shelby, Brayden, Athena, Skyler, and Akadious, who all knew her as “GG," and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, parents, and 10 siblings.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services with Pastor Wayne Searles officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
