BELLVILLE: Vada Marie Frailey of Bellville went to be with the Lord on January 1st, 2021.

She was born on November 15, 1946 at her family home in Julian, West Virginia and graduated from Scott High School. 

On November 1, 1980 she married Edward Lee Frailey. 

Vada worked at Westinghouse and for Rubbermaid before retirement. 

Loving, nurturing, and blessed with a heart of gold, Vada’s life purpose was to care for children.  She and Ed dedicated their lives and home to caring for severely handicapped kids and babies.  Their home was transformed into a haven for their family, where each child was showered with love and affection.   

She enjoyed working in her flower beds, spending time with her family and her furry friends Baby and Bella.

Greeting Vada in heaven New Year’s Day were her husband of 40 years, Ed Frailey, her parents Mamie and Guy Holstein, siblings Hazel, Carol and Melvin, and her four adopted children Shytrice, Charles, Annabelle and Michelle. 

She is survived by her children Angela Ammons of Bellville, Melanie and Jeff Robinson of Bellville, Jamilla, Ryan, Deshawn, Petey, Shanique, Kisha, Donna, Anthony, Joey, Zackary and Katy Frailey, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and 147 foster and adopted children.  Also surviving is her brother Robert Holstein and sister Mida Workman. 

Friends may call Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 1-3 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service for Vada will be held Monday at 11 am.  Pastor Bob Butler will officiate and burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery. 

Contributions in honor of Vada may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
