Teresa A. Sherman

Teresa A. Sherman, 52, of Galion, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 at the Galion Community Hospital, Galion.

Mrs. Sherman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 14, 1963 to Robert T. Orth, Columbus and the late Charlotte J. (Thorton) Orth. She married Douglas E. Sherman on Aug. 31, 1998 and he survives her.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Mansfield. Teresa participated in many Civil War Reenactments with her friend Harry Titus. She was an animal lover. Teresa cherished her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband Douglas, her father Robert T. Orth, of Columbus, her two brothers and three sisters Robert and Deb Orth, of Mansfield, Karen and Todd Rudolph, of Galion, Diane and Mark Morgan, of Bellville, Jenny Ensminger, of Columbus, and Chuck McCartney, of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews and her good friends Harry and Vicki Titus, of Galion.

She was preceded in death by her mother Charlotte J. (Thorton) Orth.

Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion.
