Taylor Etzinger

Taylor G. Etzinger, 22, of Galion, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at Galion Community Hospital, Galion.  Look, and see the sun shine, know Tay is looking down from heaven with that wide smile of his.

Taylor was born in Mansfield on March 9, 1993 and was the only child to Dean and Ruth Ann (Sheets) Etzinger.

He was a caring, intelligent, loving, big hearted, and artistic young man.  Taylor was a very special person to his family; his smile and presence would light up their day.  He was a friend to anyone. He loved music, skateboarding, and fishing with his dad.  Taylor had studied engineering at The Ohio State University.  The hole in our hearts may never heal, but we would never trade anything for having him enter our hearts.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandfather James R. & Miriam Etzinger, Bucyrus, his paternal grandmother Sandra & Wayne “Ed” Nauman, Bucyrus, his aunts and uncles Mary & Tom Norwood, Mt. Gilead, Carolyn & James Harman, Mt. Gilead, Roy & Fannie Sheets, Galion, Matthew “Scott” & Kathy Etzinger, Galion, Steve & Mary Louis, Mt. Gilead, Glenda Leuthold, Bucyrus, Brenda & Dick Myers, Bucyrus, Rhonda & Jamie Fox, Milford, his great uncle James Stineman, Bucyrus, his special aunt Beatrice Hall, Galion, his cousins Craig White, Dustan Norwood, Ansley Myers, Lisa Sewell, Paula Enzo, Cindy Sammetinger, Nathan Bacheldor, Jeanalee Sheets, and numerous other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Glenn & Loretta Sheets, his great grandmother Mary Dowler, his great aunt Carol Stineman and his cousins Tammy Marshall and Jeff Estep.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 15 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor Mike Corwin officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alpha 12 Recovery Step Program in care of the funeral home.
