Stanley Fry

Stanley Fry, 34, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 in his Bellville home.

Although we mourn his loss, God must have needed a really good angel.

Stan was born Feb. 17, 1982 in Wooster, Ohio to Jeff and Michelle (Gatten) Fry. He graduated from Ashland High School. He has held several jobs over the years and most recently worked for the Ariel Corporation.

Stan was an exceptionally smart young man who was very well-read and a good listener. He was devoted to his brother Jeff Jr., and even as a young kid is remembered to have said “I take care of my brother.”

Stan had a laid-back, easy-going personality. He was quiet, but could hold a conversation on just about any topic. Stan was a caring young man and also enjoyed computer games. He had a dry sense of humor and liked to listen to 80’s and 90’s rock music.

The world would be better off with more good men like Stanley Fry.

He is survived by his parents Jeff and Michelle Fry, of Bellville; brother and sister-in-law Jeff Jr. and Heather Fry. of Sumiton, Alabama; paternal grandparents Sam and Donna Fry, of Shreve, Ohio; maternal grandparents Al and Marie Gatten, of Rittman, Ohio; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home (81 Mill Rd.) where a funeral service honoring Stan’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Ed Brumfield will officiate and burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.

Contributions in his memory to benefit his final expenses (please make checks payable to Snyder Funeral Homes) may be made at his services.

Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Stan’s family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence to them at
