Stanley David McQuillen

Stanley David McQuillen, 76, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020 at his home.

Stanley was born on April 29, 1944 in Ashland, Ohio. He was the beloved son of Arthur and Jean (Knapp) McQuillen. Stanley was a devoted father, and beloved grandfather. He drove stock car in Mansfield and enjoyed long rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Kathy Morre and Brian (Sandy) McQuillen; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brothers, John and Bill McQuillen; a half brother, Bobby Gossard; a sister, Lora McClain; and three half sisters, Rea Springstine, Louis Gossard, and Sharon Kirk. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Hollas Neal.

Family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, Sept/ 19, 2020 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue. Services will follow immediately at 11 a.m. Stanley will be laid to rest at Trinity United Methodist Cemetery.
