Sally Moore

Sally J. Moore, age 83, of Ashland and formerly of Shelby, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Sally was born on February 20, 1932 in Shelby, the daughter of the late Zeno Louis and Elsie (Waines) Hursh. She was a 1950 graduate of Shelby Senior High School and was a homemaker. Sally enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and collecting miniatures.

On May 29, 1952 Sally married Forrest D. Moore and he survives. Also surviving are 4 children: Fonda (Sonny) Clark of Greenville, Peggy (Mark) McKown of Shelby, Scott (Sara) Moore of Mansfield, and JoAnn (Mic) Kempf of Creston; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Becky (Jerry) Barber of Shelby, and Bonnie (Ben) Niles of Indiana. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by: a sister: Mary Biddle; 3 brothers: Bill Hursh, Jim Hursh, and John Hursh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12 noon at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby with Pastor Russel Yoak, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, officiating. Family and friends are welcome fromĀ 10 AMĀ –Ā 12 noonĀ prior to the serviceĀ on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Donate Life America, 701 E.
