Rondell C. “Randy” Beasley, 54, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Winchester Terrace Nursing Care Facility after a brief battle with cancer. The Lord’s mercy and grace carried him to heaven to be with his “pop”, whom preceded him in death just three short months ago.
Randy was born on March 12, 1959, in Mansfield, to Roy P. and Jane L. Garber Beasley. “Beas” as he was known by many, was a free spirit who lived life day by day. He was an ace mechanic and coast to coast truck driver with many years behind the wheel right beside his father, who he admired greatly. Randy also operated heavy machinery for his uncle, John L. Garber. He enjoyed playing darts and attending golf outings in the area.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Beasley of Mansfield; two sons, Elijah C. Beasley of Houston, TX and Travis Workman of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Abigail Beasley and Kylie Jo Workman; three brothers, Lester (Jackie) Beasley, Steven (Milly) Beasley, and Daniel (Lori) Beasley all of Mansfield; many nephews, nieces, and cousins; and quite an extended family in West Virginia.
Randy was preceded in death by his father.
